  2.     It varies. Usually we visit with friends only at the market or 
  3.     in passing or at the meeting of the local peasant association.

  10.     Getu has been to Dire Dawa, near Somalia, Ambo, Addis 
  11.     Ababa. Zenebu has been to Addis Ababa.

  14.     We have not been outside our country.

  18. 47.    What types of media are you exposed to? How do you 
  19.     get local and world news? Does it matter to you?
  20.     Getu listens to the radio when he has batteries. He enjoys 
  21.     hearing about Ethiopia and the world.

  24.     One very small radio that is currently inactive because there 
  25.     are no batteries.

  31.     Getu would like to read but there is nothing available.

  34.     In the old government Getu was secretary of the peasant 
  35.     organization under old regime. Now, under the new     government, he is not welcome in the organization.

  37. 53.    What are your perceptions of the rest of the world?
  38.     We have heard that half the world is at war and wish for peace     the world over. Getu is very aware of Somalia's problems.
